About the Position
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to work in a fast-paced department to leverage tools and technologies, such as SAP Business Objects, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and ArcGIS, blended with internal and external data sets, along with analytical thinking to assist in driving forward key data projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify, design, and implement internal data improvements: automating manual processes, and optimizing data delivery for greater scalability, etc.
- Create and modify dashboards and reports based on project requirements
- Develop documentation for dashboards, reports, and data sources
Requirements
- Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical degree.
- Available to work 40 hours/week for up to 12 weeks during the summer of 2025.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Proficient with SQL.
- Experience with R, Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is a plus.
- Interest in education, risk pooling, or insurance environment preferred.
