- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair activities for the fleet.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement to source parts and materials for repairs.
- Monitor budget and expenses related to fleet maintenance operations.
- Address and resolve any maintenance-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fleet management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with supervisory experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
