What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofer position at Modern Roofing, Inc.?
Modern Roofing is a commercial roofing company working primarily in Grand Rapids/West Michigan and surrounding areas. We have been a leader in the roofing industry for over 50 years. We are looking to add reliable & motivated individuals to our team of commercial roof installers. We will provide all safety and on-site training along with the necessary tools and equipment to work in a safe & productive manner. We work first shift, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays. Pay starts at $18 per hour but may be adjusted based on experience & dependability, with the possibility of annual production bonuses. We encourage advancement and promotions from within and offer an employee referral bonus program.
Job requirements include:
Reliable transportation to/from jobsites (mostly greater Grand Rapids area)
Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs
Communicate & work well in a team setting
Lift up to 50 pounds
Some outdoor laborer work experience preferred but not necessary
18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
