Position
The Human Resources (HR) Manager plans, directs, and coordinates human resources management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, employee relations and corporate communication.
This is an onsite position in Monroe, WI.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Support performance reviews, goal-setting, and development plans to drive employee growth and organizational success.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Administer employee compensation, benefits packages, and perks, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Identify training needs, coordinate professional development programs, and promote continuous learning.
- Track key HR metrics and provide insights to leadership on employee trends and workforce needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, driving employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience is required, 1-2 years as an HR Manager. 1-2 years Supervisory experience
- PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with FLSA regulations regarding exempt/non-exempt classifications.
- Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems is required, Paycom a plus.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruiting, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, and recordkeeping security in accordance with Federal and State regulations
- Knowledge of training/instruction methods for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
