Our client, a leader in financial tax software, is looking to hire a Project Data Manager. This is a fully remote position that will align to PST business hours.

As a Project Data Manager, you will be responsible for providing data governance, database management, testing, and reporting business insights to workstreams across the company's Finance teams. Your role will be responsible for developing central processes, communication, and governance documentation across the organization to track progress on key SDLC deliverables, driving consistency in Finance project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data, governance, project management, and change management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data governance program within Finance team, creating streamlined workflow that will enhance data usage across the organization
- Refine existing data artifacts to Smartsheet and Google Sheets, centralizing important data
- Create dashboards to visualize scope of work, report daily status, capture release metrics
- Document governance materials in Asana, leveraging additional tools such as Wiki and Jira to maximize database use for various projects across cross-functional financial teams
- Identify and report risks and issues, tracking deliverables and dependencies across project stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience with database management, databases, data structures, and data lifecycles
- Extensive knowledge of Asana, Google Suite and Smartsheet
- Prior experience using tools like Jira and Wiki for data governance documentation
- Ideal candidates have a background in the financial or banking industry!
