POSITION SUMMARY
Body Repair Technicians with MCI will successfully repair all body and frame components on MCI coaches.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Ability to diagnose and repair all body and frame components including riveted, spot-welded and perimeter-welded parts, panels, frame members and bulkheads.
- Must be able to remove, repair and replace parts including lights, doors, windows, glass, moldings, upholstery and any additional body accessories.
- Welding and metal preparation.
- Frame straightening.
- Provide accurate repair time estimates
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of automotive body repair experience required.
- Must be proficient in the use of pneumatic riveter, sanders, grinders, hydraulic pullers, pressure painting equipment, standard fastener equipment, oxygen / acetylene welding, ARC, MIG and T.
G. welding equipment and body filler material and fiberglass.
- Must be able to provide own small hand tools and body repair tools required to perform body repair functions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Pre-employment drug test and background screen required.
