POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Residential Care Associate (RCA) DATE: January 13, 2022

REPORTING
RELATIONSHIP: Residential Clinical Director
SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: None
PURPOSE: Provide Support to all residents and peer support. Assist with daily activates and day to day operations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate with treatment coordinators to assist with the development and success of treatment goals.
2. Orient all residents to the recovery process, inclusive to relapse prevention.
3. Complete all notes as required by supervisor within 24 hours.
4. Attend staff meetings and training conferences as required.
5. Maintain contact with community agencies to facilitate collaboration.
6. Adhere to all standards for quality of care for clients. This includes, but is not limited to treating clients with respect, maximizing continuity of care, seeking supervision as necessary, arranging for coverage for periods of absence, and maintaining all professional ethics.
7. Maintain Relias trainings as schedule by supervisor.
8. Assist with the day to day operations within the daily schedule as needed.
9. Assist with keeping charts maintain and updated as needed.
10. All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment of mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
