What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Assessor position at MOUNTRAIL COUNTY NORTH DAKOTA?
The Mountrail County Tax Director is now accepting applications for a Property Tax Assessor. This is a full-time position offering a generous pay package ($54,900-$76,100 per year DOE and certifications) and excellent benefits, including fully paid family health insurance and retirement plan.
Applicants are required to have a high school diploma (or GED) and a valid Class D driver’s license. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as knowledge of computer programs is required. Three (3) or more years of related experience, knowledge of the valuation process, GIS and equalization principles and procedures is preferred but not required. Must be able to obtain a class 1 assessor certification within two years. Lifting, walking and other manual labor is required periodically.
