What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at MSM Technology, LLC?
Description:
- Assist in the day-to-day needs of the HR department including but not limited to:
- Serve as a member of the HR team to address employee questions and concerns
- Create content and communications to employees
- Maintain compliance with employee files
- Onboard and offboard employees
- Escalate performance and related issues including support of disciplinary and termination activities
- Manage the performance improvement process in conjunction with the Director of Programs
- Coordinate/facilitate employee performance evaluations
- Contribute to a positive culture including outreach with employees
- Participate and support planning of corporate functions
- Administer and model company policies, procedures, programs and philosophy
- Administer HR programs and liaison with benefit brokers
- Assist in open enrollment
- Maintain HRIS database and run reports out of Paylocity
- Maintain and share knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and federal/state employment laws that may affect the company and support associated compliance activities
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of relevant HR experience; 3 years preferred in government contracting
- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or relevant years of experience
- Working with an HRIS system, Paylocity preferred
- SHRM or HRCI certification required

** Primarily Remote position- must be available to work ET business hours in the DMV- occasional local travel to work sites in the Metro DC area and to the corporate HQ in Quantico, VA
