Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SQF Practitioner to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our food safety and quality management systems meet the highest standards as set forth by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance processes, and the ability to implement effective quality control measures.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain SQF policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess adherence to HACCP principles and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and coordinate measuring machines, for accurate quality inspection.
- Analyze data from quality inspections to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate solutions that enhance product quality and safety.
- Train staff on SQF requirements, food safety practices, and proper use of quality assurance tools.
- Maintain documentation related to quality audits, inspections, and compliance with FDA regulations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in food safety management.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality assurance tasks.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
