This is a Dayshift position
Summary
Performs a variety of clerical functions, which includes timely data entry of spices and packaging material receipts in BPCS, Inventory tracking program and in Intellichief, Turning hard copies into accounts payable.
Cycle count spices, labels, and materials utilizing barcode technology when applicable. Safely operates forklift in the performance of assigned warehousing duties when needed.
Checking in deliveries verifying and matching BOL’s of what is delivered.
Oversees inventory of ingredients; loads/unloads trucks when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive spices and packaging materials into BPCS system in an accurate and timely manner.
Scan bill of lading and packing slips into intellichief after they have been received in BPCS.
Runs and modifies reports in various computer programs, including Excel, Pickle Portal, and BPCS.
Cycle count Glass, Trays, Labels, supplies and other materials utilizing barcode technology when available.
Must use scan gun to cycle count inventory.
Performs certain timekeeping duties for Department 3620 employees as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor. .
Handles month-end reporting and verification.
Assists Warehouse Supervisor with clerical tasks, such as answering telephone, taking and relating messages, operating paging system, filing and maintaining files, and making copies as needed.
Keeps work area clean and orderly.
Receives written and verbal instructions on the above tasks and performs other work as directed by supervisor.
Maintains hard copies of COA’s, kosher tankers, kosher railcars for High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Vinegar, Sucrose, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate and Alum. These records are reviewed by the OU Rabbi during inspections.
Maintains a data base for High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, and Vinegar. (This information will be used for lot traceability in the event the company recalls finished goods. The data base also has historical data including purchase order numbers, weights, date of delivery, BRIX or GRAIN analysis. For vinegar the data base includes tank number being used, duration it takes to pump the vinegar into the tanks.)

Regular office and warehouse conditions. Long hours and work weeks required during intake season and at month-end. Access to CONFIDENTIAL DATA including confidential records, planning information, inventory and sales records, and production reports.
