Mujin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AGV Integration Engineer to lead the automation solutions to streamline, troubleshoot, and reduce downtime of the fleet. As an AGV Integration Engineer at Mujin, you will collaborate with a world-class team of doers and dive into challenging technical problems to deliver our solutions. The AGV Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration of AGV systems, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.
\n- Troubleshoot PLCs, electrical schematics, and robotics systems
- Support installation and configuration of Mujin robot controller and other material handling equipment at customer sites, Integration of industrial robots, AGV’s, and demo cells
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the compatibility of system designs and ensure that our product meet the customer requirements
- Conduct control system tests, commissioning, and maintain technical documentation related to system integration
- You will be part of an interdisciplinary technical team that validates our solution and drives the testing and delivery to our customers
- Ensure AGV systems adhere to industry standards and safety regulations as well as customer requirements
- Perform analysis and assessment to gauge the effectiveness of the material handling system
- Bachelor’s degree in robotics, engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in material handling and logistics automation
- Knowledge and expertise in Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) products, including their functionalities, applications, and integration within various industrial environments
- Experience in the design and/or assembly of Robotic systems, AC/DC circuits, Servo motor controls, and conveyors
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the year, as required by project demands
- Hands-on experience with six and seven-axis robot arm task creation for material handling equipment’s
- Experience in AutoCAD/E-Plan or similar CAD package for the creation of wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting – Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.
- Familiar with industrial safety best practices regarding robotic systems
