Location: 3333 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Pay Rate: $22.00/HR W2
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Duration: 1 month, covering LOA
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desk-side Support Technician with expertise in macOS. As part of a large enterprise, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, including VIP executive level, ensuring the seamless operation of Apple devices within our corporate environment. This role requires in-depth knowledge of macOS, proficiency with MDM solutions like Jamf, and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Provide desk-side support for macOS devices, including troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
- Install, configure, and manage software applications and updates on Apple devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to macOS.
- Assist with the deployment and management of macOS devices using MDM solutions, particularly Jamf.
- Support end-users with day-to-day technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within macOS environments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on the effective use of macOS devices and software.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a desk-side support role, specializing in macOS is required.
- Proficiency with Jamf or other MDM solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of macOS architecture, including security, networking, and system preferences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment is a plus.
