Location: El Monte, CA
Essential Job Functions
- Follow project manager’s instructions to test and debug business applications including, but not limited to: ERP, WMS, EDI, BI, mobile apps, and web portal sites.
- Write and testing codes for in-house applications including, but not limited to: ERP, WMS, EDI, BI, mobile apps, and web portal sites.
- Perform verification and validation for software and application production.
- Support project manager or IT department to maintain and troubleshoot network and hardware infrastructure including VPN and VMW operations.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft windows systems including Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and SQL Server.
- Coordinate with employees and vendors to identify, repair, and improve business relations.
- Attend Company events and functions outside of normal working hours.
- Other duties as required from management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to go on domestic and international business trips by plane
- Ability to type and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
- Working Conditions
o Noise Level: Normal to Loud while indoors
o Ability to sit for an extended period of time
o Business trips at least twice a year
Other Requirements
- Business level English – Read/write/speak/listen
- Business level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen
- Associate degree in computer science or relevant fields required
- IT Support or Web development experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to adapt to changes in workload
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of technical management and information analysis
- Knowledge of various operating systems such as Linux, Mac OS, and Windows
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of agile methodology
