Packaging Associate

MW Components -Telefast is looking for a flexible person that can handle a wide variety of shipping, receiving, picking, and packing functions. Mainly to pack final product so it can be stored in the warehouse for shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Correctly pack the product into the proper packaging
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. cartons/boxes
• Tape boxes neatly and securely
• Assure the correct product code/labels are on the box
• Place boxes on the proper skid with the correct number of cases per layer and per skid
• Keep packing area neat, clean, and safe, assisting in sweeping and keeping product off the floor
• Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
• Receive, unload, and place incoming material if needed
• Operate tow motor or pallet jack to move and load materials and skids
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Complete all necessary paperwork and all required documentation
• Follow all department and machine rules and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye and attention to detail
• Conduct physical inventory
• Communication and teamwork within and outside the department
• Loading and unloading tractor trailers
• Other duties as assigned
