Infant Nanny

Job Description

A loving family is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Nanny to provide attentive care for their infant, she will be 3 months old when the job starts. The nanny will play a key role in supporting the child’s growth and development by fostering a nurturing, joyful, and engaging environment. This role emphasizes developmental milestones, baby-led weaning, and a responsive caregiving approach centered on listening to the baby’s cues. The family resides near Sugar Sand Park, offering a wonderful opportunity for outdoor activities and exploration.

The ideal nanny is warm, motherly, and experienced in caring for infants. They should be kind, gentle, and loving. Candidates who are proactive in communicating with parents through regular updates, texts, and photos are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care for an infant, supporting developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, reading, and interactive activities.
• Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, and hygiene, following and listening to baby’s cues.
• Create a stimulating, screen-free environment through engaging activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan and lead exploratory activities, including outings to Sugar Sand Park for play and nature-based learning, ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
• Perform child-related household tasks, including preparing meals and snacks, tidying play areas, organizing children’s spaces, and managing children’s laundry.

Pay Rate

$30-$33/hr. plus paid time off and holidays

1 large dog and 1 cat

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• 7am to 4:30pm
• In August 2025, the schedule will become Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm.

Kensington Nanny Agency Requirements

• Must have 3 or more years of recent, verifiable professional private home experience
• Understanding of professional boundaries, modesty and dressing appropriately
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have a reliable car
• Excellent driving record
• Be drug-free
• Able to swim
• Have a stable work history
• Speak excellent English – must read & write
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Have no criminal record
• Be CPR & First Aid Certified (prior to beginning work in the home)
