Risk Management Specialist - Buffalo, NY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administrative duties in support of Risk Management/Claims including:

o Administration and Organization of legal documents and litigation files

o Creating purchase requisitions

o Certified mailings

o Routine office tasks

o Processing payments for Claims and Environmental invoices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with case management software/organizational systems

• Working knowledge/experience with SAP (ICWEB & ECC environments), Peoplesoft & PFI

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, & Microsoft Outlook

• Excellent organizational/communication skills; Attention to detail; Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet time deadlines

• Must be available to work Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior legal/law firm work preferred

• Paralegal training or office management training preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with a starting hourly rate of $23.07/hour, after 6 months $24.58/hour, and an increase to $26.35/hour after 1 year.
