Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing all of the Credentialing Department’s daily activities including license, permits and credentialing status with government and commercial payers.
Communicate directly with payers via phone, email, or any other means necessary to ensure the proper understanding of payer’s guidelines and contractual terms while remaining in compliance with payer and state regulations as well as NSM’s policies and procedures.
Complete enrollment and re-enrollment applications for commercial payers, attaching required documentation, securing appropriate signatures and dates before submitting.
Initiate, track and complete New Branch Requests and Branch Relocation Requests – informing payers of the branch’s move and performing follow-up steps until completed.
Work with the Contracting Specialist and Regional Manager to supply necessary applications with new contracts.
Track and document all requests in KACE System using the appropriate nomenclature (classification) for reporting purposes.
Helps maintain accuracy and integrity of data on the company intranet.
Work one on one with users in all areas of the company to resolve any issues with license, permits and credentialing status with government and commercial payers that may arise.
Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
2 years related credentialing experience desired – preferably DME experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
Strong data entry skills- keyboarding/accuracy/speed.
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
