QC Chemist I
Our vitamin supplement manufacturing company needs a full-time QC Chemist I to operate under the supervision of our Quality Control Laboratory Manager. The successful candidate's essential duties and responsibilities (including, but are not limited to):
- Conduct analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
- Working with instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis.
- Adhering to cGMP/cGLP documentation practices
- Maintain the cleanliness and compliance of the laboratory
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and test methods.
- Follow cGMP/cGLP requirements and execute/document all testing in the laboratory according to these standards.
- Other tasks as assigned by laboratory manager
Required Skills
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 5 years of HPLC/GC experience required within the personal care, nutraceutical, or chemical industries
- Experience working in a cGMP/cGLP environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
