Position Title: Associate Internal Auditor Intern
Job Overview:
Summer 2025, June to August, Undergraduate internship, within a functional area that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.
40 hours a week for the Summer 2025.
Meaningful work and project assignments, such as: testing motion control products, etc., in a research lab, and working with controllers- putting electrical and mechanical pieces together, etc.
Networking opportunities with peers and executives
Exposure to different divisions of the business
Understanding of the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Position Responsibilities:
Working with IA team member to prepare PBC requests to process owners
Make sample selections to ensure the completeness of test documents
Help with scheduling internal and external meetings to perform walkthroughs, discussion with process owners, collaboration with external auditors, etc.
Perform SOX control testing, and prepare test documents and draft test results
Assist with IA team member in power point presentation
Assist with data analysis using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Visio etc.
Perform other ad hoc projects as needs arise
Travel Requirements: No travel is required.
Required skills:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting, Finance or relevant majors
40 hrs a week, for Summer 2025.
Experience with Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with different stakeholders (Internal Audit, Management, External Auditors)
Superb organization skills to prioritize multiple tasks and working with people from different time zones
Preferred skills:
Accounting Knowledge (Expected to have taking basic accounting courses in College, or have equivalent knowledge)
Oracle or SAP skills is desirable
IT System Knowledge (Basic understanding of how ERP system work to support accounting activities)
SEC requirements (Basic understanding of a US public traded company’s compliance requirements)
US GAAP knowledge desirable
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $25 per hour.
