Marketing Assistant

Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the team with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, and with the development of new marketing strategies. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully accomplish projects and initiatives in an organized and efficient manner.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Administrative support:

o Assist the brand manager and marketing manager with internal and external department projects.

· Campaign execution:

o Assist with campaign implementation and monitoring active campaigns.

o Assist with marketing research and campaign development.

· Social media:

o Assist with managing social media accounts and engagement.

o Create content, take photos and videos, and write posts.

o Work with outside content creators to secure photos and videos of Neptune aircraft.

o Compile and distribute analytics and monitor effectiveness of campaigns and programs.

· Content creation:

o Create copywriting for marketing materials, web pages, and other collateral materials.

· Data Analysis:

o Prepare reports and tracking key performance indicators.

· Communication:

o Manage interdepartmental communications.

o Communicate with external creative services.

· Project management:

o Assist the marketing team with completing projects.

o Facilitate the progress of multiple projects and deadlines.

· Merchandise Sales:

o Track merchandise sales, ship orders, monitor inventory and help reorder merchandise as needed.

· Collaborates with cross-functional team to develop resources and visibility of Neptune.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepares data and presentations for the marketing team and other ad-hoc needs.

· Oversee multiple projects and campaigns, with various stakeholders, simultaneously and with evolving deadlines.

· Special projects throughout the organization, as necessary.

· Ability to effectively communicate and work as a member of a team.

· Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate to non-technical audiences.

· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

· Knowledge of project management methodology, tools, and techniques.

· Ability to think creatively and support a multifaceted marketing program efficiently.

· Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner at all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Any combination equivalent to the following would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities needed to qualify.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate.

· Commitment to the mission and vision of Neptune Aviation Services Inc.

· Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.

· Must be well organized, creative, and detail oriented.

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with social media, marketing, and communications.

· Adaptable to changing environments.

· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Commitment to personal growth and leadership development.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

· Must be able to work onsite.

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and various office equipment.

· Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company.

· Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. May need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
