Position Summary
As an SDR Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by managing and leading a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Your primary focus will be to ensure the team effectively qualifies leads, sets appointments, and collaborates closely with the sales team to convert prospects into satisfied customers. You will be responsible for developing strategies, setting goals, optimizing processes, and hiring top talent to maximize the performance and success of the SDR team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of SDRs to achieve and exceed sales targets. (No capes required, but you will be their hero!)
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to ensure SDRs have the skills and knowledge required for success.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Hire, onboard, and train new SDRs to build a robust and effective team. (Think of it as assembling your very own dream team!)
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive lead generation and appointment setting activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define target markets, ideal customer profiles, and effective outreach methods.
- Monitor and analyze SDR performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. (Like a data-driven detective, always on the case!)
Process Optimization:
- Implement and refine processes, tools, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SDR team.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and management within the CRM system.
- Regularly review and update scripts, email templates, and outreach strategies to align with industry trends and customer needs. (Sharpening those tools like a sales samurai!)
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster strong communication and collaboration between SDRs and Account Executives to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure alignment on campaign goals, messaging, and lead quality.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on insights gathered from prospect interactions. (Your insights will be more valuable than a morning cup of coffee!)
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as lead conversion rates, appointment set rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to highlight SDR team performance and impact.
- Use data and insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in SDR operations. (Your reports will be so good, they'll make spreadsheets jealous!)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in sales development or lead generation, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Previous experience as an SDR and SDR Manager.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Compensation: $75,000 base/ $100,000 OTE
