Medication Technician/Caregiver
Medication Technician/Caregiver Job Duties
Provide a wide range of assistive care encompassing all adult daily living skills, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), wellness, recreational past times, and socialization. Responsible for the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medications, including keeping proper care records and reporting any changes in residents’ health conditions. Assisting the resident to reach and maintain their highest level of functioning.
Medication Technician/Caregiver Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current Medication Technician certificate.
1 of year experience providing personal care and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current First Aid and/or CPR Training, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Food Handler Safety Training Card (Health Card) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
