Position: Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable
Location: New Creation Church, Longmont, CO
Pay Range: $17.00–$19.00/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk/bookkeeper. This on-site role offers flexible hours (8 to 12 hours per week) and focuses on managing financial records and accounts payable with precision and integrity. A demonstrated willingness to learn specific financial procedures and database systems is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable, including coding, entering, and paying invoices using QuickBooks Online.
- Reconcile financial accounts and prepare accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
- Work closely with the Administrator to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and follow church-specific financial procedures and database systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Familiarity with nonprofit or church bookkeeping is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent tools.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible part-time schedule, 8 to 12 hours per week.
- This is a fully on-site position at New Creation Church.
