Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all aspects of Adult admissions, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Generate and submit accurate billing statements in a timely manner
- Work closely with providers and insurance companies to resolve any billing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all billing and admissions regulations and procedures
- Assist with financial counseling for Families in need of assistance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare billing or admissions role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Understanding of CPT billing codes and utilization of HCFA 1500 forms
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
