What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphics/Social Digital Media Representative position at New Horizons Credit Union?
SUMMARY: Design, develop, monitor, and implement social media posts, general search engine optimization,
blogs, and community efforts for New Horizons Credit Union that support awareness of the credit union and its
products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Develop, maintain, and update Social Media and SEO
Develop Social Media videos and engagement opportunities.
Assist with internal and external marketing and communication as needed.
Coordinate and assist with NHCU Community and Chamber events as needed which include weekend
availability.
Assist with Disaster Notification as needed.
Assist with monitoring and responding to social media posts
Ensure regulatory compliance as it relates to social media, community events, and related duties.
Ensure branch signage, posters, and advertising are reflected in social media efforts.
Assist other members of the Marketing & Business Development team as needed.
Work cohesively with other departments and branches as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Anyone seeking or having a bachelor degree, certification or has
experience/current classes in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Arts, Journalism,
Video Production, Public Relations or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to work within Hoot Suite and/or Social Media platforms. Ability to
work with general public in community events and communicate effectively. Writing and verbal skills are a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures, ability to use social media and various word processing and
spreadsheet software, such as Word, Power Point, Excel, and Constant Contact or similar software. Knowledge of
Google Ad words, Google analytics and desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or
Photoshop are a plus.
