What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep position at New Oberpfalz Brewing?
We are seeking a reliable and personable kitchen prep / dishwasher to join our team in an entry-level role, working 12-24 hours per week in our kitchen. This is an ideal part time position for a person attending school or with other daytime responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and establishment.
Load, unload, and operate a commercial dish washing machine.
Chop, cut, cook, and plate food items.
Solve problems and communicate effectively with co-workers.
Cleaning/organizing/moving/folding/polishing of service items, equipment, etc.
Keep operating costs low by reducing/eliminating waste while keeping quality standards high.
Moving or manipulating items weighing 50lbs or more in a safe manner.
Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (all staff must be over 18 due to being a brewery)
Commitment to steady, gainful employment
A good attitude, positive outlook, and the desire to succeed
Kitchen experience is a nice plus, but not a requirement.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
