What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry Clerk position at New Process Fibre Company, Inc.?
Receives orders and releases from customers via mail, e-mail, phone, fax or internet.
Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
Requests updated pricing from Estimators.
Contacts customers for price approvals.
Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer.
Files or routes source documents after entry.
E-mail notifying necessary departments when new or changed tooling orders have been entered.
Checks with production department for customer requested rush order delivery dates prior to data entry.
Retrieves releases/orders/changes from customer supplier portal.
Job Type: Full-time
