Office Assistants are responsible for handling front office work and internal administration. They collaborate with each department to ensure that projects meet or exceed customer expectations and internal operations run smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Office Assistant, you are responsible for various administrative operations. This position will be subject to an initial training period. The training period duration is based on experience. Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with suppliers and customers.
- Manage receivables, payables and payroll.
- Arrange domestic and international shipments.
- Maintain databases and create reports.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with a variety of office software products (Office 365, QuickBooks, ERP, etc).
- Experience in accounting preferred.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (frequent walking, lifting, bending required).
- Desire to take ownership of your work and approach it with a sense of urgency.
- Organized, detail-oriented and ability to solve problems independently.
- Desire to neatly, accurately, and professionally handle administrative tasks and documentation.
- Able to maintain an organized and orderly workspace.
