Job Title: IT Project Manager

Job Location: 2 days onsite in Vienna, VA (All remote work must be performed within the United States.)

Job Type: Contract - Must be able to work as a W2 employee of Newbold.

Job Requirements:

· 7 years of Technical Project management experience with hands-on experience managing software development implementations.

· Proficiency in utilizing Jira, and significant exposure to both agile and waterfall methodologies are essential requirements for this role.

· Experience swiftly adapting to the environment, adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

· Effective communication skills are paramount as you collaborate closely with business partners.

· Experience with online transactional applications and web environments

Desired: financial services experience

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage IT projects within the financial services sector, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Oversee software development and implementation processes, including requirements gathering and user acceptance testing.
Utilize tools like Jira and Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking progress.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure project alignment and success.
Analyze project outcomes and implement improvements for future initiatives.
