Key Responsibilities

Duties

As the Technical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in steering projects to success while cultivating robust relationships with stakeholders. Your duties will encompass:

  • Acting as the principal point of contact between the project team and the client, facilitating effective communication and superior service delivery.
  • Overseeing all dimensions of the project lifecycle, which includes defining project scope, developing work plans, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Promoting a collaborative team culture, addressing staffing requirements, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Offering strategic advice on IT solutions, cybersecurity measures, and cloud technology implementation while adopting Agile methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Managing program criteria, financial considerations, and ongoing improvement initiatives to ensure project success.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR) and senior leadership.
  • Crafting and proposing solutions to intricate challenges, guiding the team towards achieving project objectives.
  • Providing operational support, including financial oversight and research on discrepancies.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Management, IT-related disciplines, or an MBA in Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 10 years in IT project management, with at least 7 years of experience working within Agile frameworks.
  • Previous involvement with HHS and/or AHRC projects.
  • Proven track record in leading software development projects, particularly in cybersecurity and cloud technology.
  • A strong ability to create detailed work plans, manage schedules, and allocate resources while adhering to quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold:

  • PMP/PMI certification.
  • Scrum Master certification.
