JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Associate
DEPARTMENT: Accounting
SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Associate assists in day-to-day accounts payable tasks, other office clerical functions as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable:
- Data entry including the payment of approved trade contractor/supplier invoices, utility bills, and SG&A related invoices ensuring proper coding.
- Match Weekly ACH/Check backup.
- Weekly scanning and filing of invoices and ACH/check copies.
- Correspond directly with vendors as well as review monthly aging statements to verify there are no discrepancies and outstanding invoices.
Clerical Office Functions:
- Upload sales contracts.
- Apply and renew annual model home alarm permits.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years (maximum) related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communications skills, written, and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with employees from multiple departments, customers, and vendors.
- Good organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to present self professionally and courteously.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
