Quality Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
•    Maintain Calibration Log
•    Maintain BOM Change Order Log
•    Liaison between Production and Technical Team
•    Assist in training, implementation, and maintenance of quality procedures and documents within the management system.
•    Help perform document and process audits.
o    Providing Audit Reports
•    Contribute to corrective and preventative action processes.
•    Performing and documenting Various Laboratory Tests Including:
o    Soak and Boil Testing
o    UV Testing
o    Edgeband Peel Testing
o    Water Vapor Transmission Rate
o    HM Screw Insert Pull Test
o    Ashippun Treated Paper Tests
o    Quarterly testing
    Water absorption
    Screw and bolt pulls
    Modulus of Elasticity (MOE)
    Modulus of Rupture (MOR)
    Tensile
•    Produce Certificates of Authenticity for Customers
•    Perform various inspections.
o    Receipt, In-Process, Final, Returns
•    Create Lab and Customer samples.
•    Maintain Inspection Records
•    Manage Engineering Print database and create prints for jobs.
•    Provide additional support for special projects as required by Quality and Engineering Staff
•    Other duties as assigned
Skills
Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and tools.
Experience with quality management systems 
Ability to conduct effective quality audits and assessments.
Understanding of CGMP requirements in manufacturing environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
