Adult Program Clinical Director – Crossroads Intensive Outpatient Programs
The Crossroads Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at NFI Vermont is seeking an Adult IOP Clinical Director. Crossroads provides intensive outpatient services based on the theory and practice of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Clients are typically referred to IOP as a way to bridge inpatient psychiatric or substance use disorder treatment and traditional outpatient therapy, or to address mental health and co-occurring issues which are not being adequately resolved in the outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Direct support for clinical efficacy and cohesion of the treatment team, including adherence to DBT in treatment planning and risk assessments while working in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive clinical intake assessments for IOP level of care
- Clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians and interns
- Facilitate DBT coping skills groups
- Manage various administrative needs of the program for daily operations & budget, including but not limited to waitlist management and prior authorizations when needed
• Effectively collaborate with other Program Directors, the greater NFI leadership team, and community partners - Participate in weekly individual and biweekly group supervision
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, organization and time management skills
- After-hours DBT phone coaching rotation for additional stipend
Requirements:
• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• VT licensure or licensure-eligible (Licensed MSW, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Counselor, etc.)
- Licensed in your field for 3 years, or otherwise eligible to supervise pre-licensed clinicians
- Commitment towards personal growth and experience in implementing DBT services
