Niku X is a high-end Japanese dining experience, specializing in premium wagyu and modern Yakiniku cuisine. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team and maintain the high standards of excellence in our kitchen.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitization.
3.Ensure all food storage and handling meet health and safety regulations.
4. Help set up workstations and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
5. Dispose of trash and clean kitchen floors and surfaces regularly.
6. Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries.
7. Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required; we provide training.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
3. Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
