Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients and their owners while supporting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. We are a general practice facility, offering routine wellness, in-depth medicine, surgery, dentistry, and reproduction.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures.
- Help maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Provide pet care education to clients regarding nutrition, behavior, and preventive care.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and proper sanitation protocols.
- Support animal husbandry practices to promote the well-being of all animals in our care.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is required.
- Experience with animal husbandry.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and familiarity with veterinary equipment is preferred, but we are willing to train.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. The successful applicant should be a team player, self-motivating, and able to complete tasks without supervision.

Our base package includes an hourly wage, per diems for emergency cases, paid time off, retirement benefits, and a CE stipend. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.71 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
