The Director of Security is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect North End Teleservices' employees, clients, assets, and facilities. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry best practices, while fostering a culture of safety, security, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard company operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks through proactive planning and implementation of security measures.
- Develop appropriate relationships with community stakeholders and first responders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical and Operational Security
- Oversee physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Ensure the safety of employees, clients, and visitors across all NET facilities.
- Develop and manage emergency response and crisis management plans.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and safety staff, as required.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to federal and state security laws, including data privacy and protection (e.g., CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Manage compliance with industry regulations and client-specific security requirements.
- Conduct drills, risk assessments and security audits, identifying vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, train, and develop a security team to achieve company objectives.
- Oversee third-party security vendors, ensuring quality and adherence to contract terms.
- Foster a culture of vigilance, safety, and preparedness throughout the organization.
Investigations and Incident Management
- Conduct investigations of security breaches, theft, workplace violence, or other incidents.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during security events.
- Document incidents and provide detailed reports to senior leadership.
Cybersecurity
- Partner with IT leadership to protect digital assets, data, and systems.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, including employee awareness training and monitoring of systems.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are strongly preferred.
- Experience managing both physical and cybersecurity operations in a corporate or government contractor environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, or federal security clearances (e.g., 5C security clearance processes) is a plus.
- Proven ability to handle crisis situations with composure, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- This position requires occasional travel between facilities or to external events.
- May require extended hours in emergency situations.
- Ability to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds and respond to on-site security needs as required.
