Position Purpose:
A Registered Nurse serving as a clinical role model and supervisor. Major responsibilities involve ensuring effective patient care through planning, organizing, staffing and evaluating the activities of the department. Responsibilities for operations, personnel, budget, reimbursement, quality management, and marketing. Oversees department treatments as a total to assure for the care of patients. He/she is responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies. Provides direct patient care when necessary.
