Surgical RN Circulator - Trinity Campus
Hours: Full Time or Part Time, 2-4 days a week, day shift. On-call required.
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience. A bonus is offered for call pay during the weekends and the hourly call pay is higher for weekends and holidays.
Requirements: Must possess an RN degree through an accredited nursing program and must be licensed by the State of Montana Board of Nursing. 1 years of general nursing experience preferred. CNOR is preferred but not required. Current BLS required ACLS preferred. We will provide additional certification classes after the probationary period is complete.
Job Summary: The RN Circulator provides patient-specific care to patients during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases within this specialty area of nursing. The RN Circulator is accountable for the coordination of care of the patients going into the OR (Operating Room), PACU (post-anesthesia care unit or recovery room), and GI Lab (Endoscopy). The RN Circulator will also assist in Sterile Processing and inventory maintenance within the Surgery Department as needed. Training will be provided in all areas. The RN Circulator will maintain consideration based on the culture-specific needs of the patient. Utilization of evidenced-based nursing and promoting a safe environment for the patients in the perioperative phases. The RN Circulator will advocate for the patient while maintaining professional communication with other members of the surgical team.
