NSCA Sales Manager
NSCA is looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Sales professional to join our team. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of Operations, and requiring travel. This role is responsible for new member prospecting, sales, renewals, and former member re-instatement, as well as Sponsorship sales for association events. Using detail, initiative and great customer service skills, this position is integral to the success of the team. Professional correspondence and a collaborative spirit are necessary for success in this position. This role will serve as liaison to the membership/marketing committee.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Membership: prospecting, sales and former member reinstatements; point of contact for manufacturer/distributor requests; onboard new members; accurate recording of member interactions; Manufacturer/Distributor business resource calls; webpage monitoring
- Events: sponsorship sales for all association and foundation events; travel to and assist with registrations attend and assist at all events
- Accounting: work closely with accounting department to develop and update agreement terms; ensure timely billing and payment.
- Operations: assist in creating and implementing quarterly goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have proven sales experience.
- Collaborate and work effectively with multiple individuals inside and outside the organization; ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Effective and tactful communication (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and prioritize.
- Quick learner, able to adapt and pick up tasks as needed.
- Must be able to self-start and take initiative.
