Atomic Heroes Alliance Coordinator
Albuquerque, NM
The Atomic Heroes Alliance Coordinator is a growth and customer service oriented role focused on building relationships with former atomic workers as they walk through the process of obtaining their EEOICPA benefits. This role will work closely with marketing, sales, and clinical teams to ensure former workers understand their benefits and get connected with needed resources. This is a non-exempt position.
Former atomic workers across the country may qualify for financial compensation and no-cost medical benefits due to their work in the atomic industry. Many have developed chronic illnesses due to workplace exposures. The Department of Labor has created a program to provide compensation and medical benefits to these former workers and Nuclear Care Partners is dedicated to educating former workers about their benefits and connecting them to resources to help them file. AHA Coordinators will work directly with former workers, Authorized Representatives outside of Nuclear Care Partners, and employees within the company to provide superior customer service and education to former workers in their assigned territories.
AHA Coordinators support pipeline growth in assigned region(s), through activities such as those listed below. There will be some expectation of in person events and travel depending on region dynamics.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Events
- Creates and maintains relationships with claimants and community partners.
- Plan and execute events ranging from breakfasts to appointments campaigns to volunteering in the community.
- Track filing progress in assigned territories, monitoring progress and follow up.
- Work with marketing communications to plan and execute postcard campaigns and other marketing tactics to drive lead generation.
- Support the local sales team to ensure that pipeline goals are met.
Communication with External Resources
- Work with assigned Authorized Representatives to ensure claim is being filed - follow up throughout the filing process on milestones
- Develop relationships with Authorized Representatives and refer former workers to Authorized Representatives to file.
- Help find and develop new Authorized Representatives to manage influx of claimants.
Database & Team Activities
- Track the number of leads that will be getting their EEOICPA benefit card within the next 90 days.
- Consequential illnesses - work with clinical teams to determine what illnesses can be added to current patients, and work with Authorized Representatives to get them filed
- Database management

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or 10 years of relevant work experience.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to meet quarterly goals.
- Ability to exercise initiative, work independently, multi-task, prioritize and function in a team environment.
- Must possess a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented demeanor. Must be discrete, trustworthy, and possess a high level of integrity.
