NuStep is actively seeking an Assembly Technician who is a team player and demonstrates flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances. It is crucial that the candidate is familiar with working in a production environment and comprehends the significance of their contributions to NuStep's components. Additionally, basic computer skills, proficient writing, and effective listening and communication skills are necessary for this role. The ideal candidate should be capable of adhering to safety guidelines and have some mechanical background and experience using hand tools. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for this position. All applicants must pass a background/drug screening.
Assembly Schedule
1st shift only, 10-hour workday’s// Mon-Thurs
Friday required currently for overtime.
Assembly Shift Schedule - 6:00am to 4:30pm
BASIC FUNCTION:
To assemble quality products in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement in all operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble semi-finished and finished goods following procedures.
- Stock the assembly line with components and/or subassemblies following established procedures.
- Adhere to and assist in writing and updating procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct daily activities supporting the fair and ethical treatment of fellow workers and other employees.
- Trouble shooting any problems that may arise during daily production.
- Complete validation of new tooling or manufacturing methods as required by the quality management system.
- Operate within and work to improve the overall quality management system.
- Notify supervisor or the VP of Manufacturing of any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required and conduct all operations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by using lean manufacturing concepts.
- Maintain housekeeping of personal workspace and surrounding areas (including floors, area, tools, etc.)
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
