The Assembly Technician will be responsible for :
- Core Intake and inspection
- Disassembly/assembly Part:
- Properly identify components by using the website and tech sheet.
- Break down components while keeping parts in an organized matter.
- Identify any damaged or missing parts that may need replacing.
- Resemble component
- Properly tag component.
- Packaging and shipping
- Speed – Ability to process parts at a pace that is satisfactory to keep production numbers up.
- Accuracy – Ability to meet time goals without damaging or losing parts that are required to be reused.
- Must be capable of keeping components organized and together.
- Must be able to follow specific work instructions.
- Information Retention – Although the process is essentially the same for each core, there are specific product differences that require the technician to perform the operation in a slightly different manner. Once trained, the technician will be expected to recognize these differences and perform the task appropriately.
Requirements
• High School Education with supplemental technical training or any combination of relevant education and work experience.
• Mechanical aptitude (does not require past mechanics experience)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use small hand tools efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation
