Account Executive – Nutraceutical Contract Manufacturing
We are a growing supplement contract manufacturing organization with a strong customer service focus seeking full time individuals to fill key sales positions. These positions will work from our offices in Farmingdale, New Jersey, and report to our Director of Business Development. Our company works in a professional, business-to-business (B2B) environment specialized in vitamins, supplements and nutraceuticals. Candidates must be entrepreneurial, self-starters who are willing to learn and are interested in sales, lead generation, and business development.
The business development role includes the development of sales opportunities using telephone (outbound and inbound), email, and social media as well as fostering client to customer relations.
Work Location: On Site-5 days per week
*Job Responsibilities*
- Identify new sales opportunities and create a business profile.
- Utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals.
- Develop sales plan and build personal book of business.
- Connect with target prospects via phone and email.
- Meet target Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for calls, emails, and sales.
- Sell and promote nutraceutical products over the phone to new and existing customers.
- Focus on generating incremental business within existing accounts, prospecting/selling to new accounts, and developing relationships over the phone.
- Negotiate and close deals successfully.
- Maintain industry and competitor knowledge.
- Other duties as required.
*Desired Skills and Experience*
- Bachelor’s degree / 3-5 years of sales experience / industry experience a plus.
- Knowledge and competence in the major elements of inside sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
- Superior sales planning and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills to include proficiency in all Microsoft programs.
- Self-motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Goal oriented.
- Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time- Compensation TBD based on experience. Salary and Commission structure.
