About the Role As an Emergency Department Nurse, you'll provide expert, high-quality care in fast-paced, high-stakes situations. Your role will be critical in stabilizing patients, managing acute injuries and illnesses, and ensuring optimal outcomes through skilled interventions and teamwork.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly triage and assess patients of all ages.
- Administer treatments and assist in emergency procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and deliver patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for seamless care.
- Respond to medical and behavioral health emergencies.
- Maintain infection control protocols and document care accurately.
- Prepare patients for transfers and manage critical care needs.
Qualifications Required:
- Current RN License (WA State).
- Minimum of 3 years' Emergency Department experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR/BLS, TNCC (within 6 months), NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- BSN or MSN.
- Certified Emergency Nurse.
- Experience in trauma, stroke, or cardiac facilities.
