Job Description:
The Human Resources (“HR”) Application Lead - Risk / Leave Of Absence (“LOA”) role at OSJL is responsible for owning and leading its Risk and LOA application (the “Application”) through all phases of development, implementation, management, and maintenance, including, but not limited to, its features for data collection, risk scoring, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement the Application to automate workflows, emails, and letters.
- Ensure that data is inputted and maintained accurately.
- Address incidents and perform mitigation actions within the Application’s functionality.
- Develop and design reports to support OSJL’s Risk and Benefits teams.
- Lead decision-making on the Application’s features, functionality changes, and enhancements.
- Partner with external vendors and internal IT and HRIS teams to integrate and manage data feeds.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate HR risks, including, but not limited to, policy updates, training, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and OSJL’s established policies.
- Regularly audit the Risk and Benefits departments’ data to proactively manage potential issues related to associates and the workforce.
- Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- Create and lead end-user training and provide ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 2 or more years of professional experience in leading a risk and leave of absence application is required. Experience with Origami Risk is a plus.
- Experience leading a cross-functional team through a project is required.
- Project management skills to oversee application development and implementation are required.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting is required.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with different departments is required.
- Proficient in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Must be a self starter, comfortable making decisions, analytical, and detail oriented.
Work Environment:
- Works primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety and health hazard
potential. - Works in an office environment remaining stationary at a desk, table, or computer workstation for extended periods of time. Frequently uses near vision for reading and computer tasks.
- Hybrid: Some work may be completed outside of the Company locations, with at least three (3) days a week in the Corporate Office. The role is responsible for setting up a professional and ergonomically safe work environment and to be available during working hours. The role may also bring their own device/s to complete all work (e.g. all computer hardware and software, including audio and video capabilities for virtual meetings; and reliable Internet connection with ability to access the Google platform for virtual meetings and applications used for work).
