Position Summary

As a Summer 2025 Intern, you will learn and contribute to a global organization, build a robust network, demonstrate leadership skills, and have some fun along the way.

The Maintenance Operations Intern will work closely with the maintenance team on projects related to production equipment including repairs, installation, and testing in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with a strong interest in food manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities May Include

• Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities.
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Help with the installation and testing of new machinery and equipment.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and reliability
  
  

Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree or higher program majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Strong interest in maintenance and equipment management.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  
  

The pay for this role in the state of Arizona is $22 /hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.

Interns with a permanent address more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible to receive a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
