What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional - Towson, MD - Full time M-F position at Omega Home Care?
Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals and doing laundry.
Additional duties may include: Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with household chores, accompanying to appointments and community integration activities.
Must have valid car insurance and a reliable car to transport the clients.
Night shift position requires an overnight presence to assist in emergencies and provide safety protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- Mon-Fri, 3 PM - 11 PM
