What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional - Towson - Part-time (Sat & Sun, 7AM-3PM) position at Omega Home Care?
Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with mental or developmental disabilities by creating behavior plans, teaching self-care skills, cooking meals and doing laundry.
Additional duties may include: Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with household chores, accompanying to appointments and community integration activities.
Must have valid car insurance and a reliable car to transport the clients.
Night shift position requires an overnight presence to assist in emergencies and provide safety protocols.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Sat & Sun, 7 AM - 3 PM
