We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Route Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving designated routes to deliver products, build customer relationships, and maximize sales opportunities. Duties
- Drive assigned routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels on the route.
- Upsell additional products and services to existing customers based on their needs.
- Handle pricing inquiries and provide accurate pricing information to customers.
- Perform heavy lifting of products as required during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while driving and handling products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Basic math skills for handling pricing and transactions effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during product deliveries.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Previous experience in upselling or merchandising is a plus.
- Military experience is valued but not mandatory.
